But with granular restore, you don't have to worry about restoring your entire store. Instead, BackupMaster's selective restore options give you the ability to recover specific pieces of data, whether it's a single product or collection, a piece of theme code, or even just a price or description. The precision of this level of restoration means you can easily and quickly recover only the exact data you need, without any hassle.
Let's take a closer look at how to restore an item granularly.
1. To find the item you want to restore, simply click on the group to which it belongs in the Backup Storage section of the dashboard. For example, if you want to restore a specific product, you would click on the "Products" group.
2. To quickly locate the item you need in BackupMaster's storage, use the search bar and enter a relevant keyword that matches the name of the item. BackupMaster provides a list of both existing and deleted items that have been saved by the app since it was installed.
3. Open the item card and use the date drop-down menu to select the backup version you want to restore. You can then compare the selected backup version with your current live version. If you're satisfied with the backup version, click the Restore to this version button located in the upper right corner of the screen.
